Career Path: Navigating Technology, Risk, and SecurityIn my role as an IT and Security Risk Manager at Citizens Financial Group, I focused on assessing and mitigating risks including vulnerability management, security information and event management, data loss prevention, identity and access management, insider threats, disaster recovery, security policy, and regulatory compliance across a wide range of onsite and cloud-based applications and technology platforms. My project management approach involves actively contributing to project workstreams, whether through analysis, design, or testing—to drive deliverables forward and achieve results aligned with client expectations. I have managed complex initiatives involving geographically dispersed teams and competing priorities, consistently upholding compliance with risk and security standards.Beyond the Desk:Apart from my professional expertise, I am committed to organizations that serve and protect those that are most vulnerable in the World today including the World Food Program, Red Cross, and World Wildlife Fund. I love skiing the beautiful and varied—though sometimes icy—slopes of the Northeast, which only deepens my appreciation for the natural, snow-covered Rockies! And though I love playing golf, I cannot quite call myself a ‘golfer’ until I can reach the green before being over par!
