Migrated Lot49 network simulation from C++ BLS cryptography library to C secp256k1 library used in Bitcoin Core. Drafted multiple protocol changes to increase usable bandwidth and reduce the number of round trips for protocol messages. Implemented a proxy that supports connecting TCP/IP ports using ham radios.

Designed and implemented a transaction compression algorithm based on historical proposals and intended for deployment on the Blockstream Satellite network. Written in C++ as a patch on Bitcoin Core, and achieved 17% space savings over all on-chain transactions as of August 2018.

Designed a Peer-to-Peer network from scratch for sharing Internet access between nodes in rural locations.

Participated in design reviews concerning user awareness of device behavior and multi-modal user input. Created tools and configured workstations for rapid deployment of design prototypes for experimental hardware.

Taught elementary school students how to snowboard 5 hours a week for 8 weeks. Customized lesson plans to changing class dynamics such as attendance, motivation, and physical condition.
