Master of bending the curriculum and crossing curriculum (mix science with history for example) to engage student curiosities and needs at all times. My job wasn't to teach science it was to get kids to realise how cool the world is so they'd become active learners. Believer in the power of positive thinking and role modelling to empower every student in achieving their potential. Honorer of all learning styles. Failure is not an option. Every kid in my class was above average.

Taking kids on epic journeys with other trained professionals and helping them navigate their struggles through self empowerment, self awareness, and team work. Also taught wilderness survival skills as part of the gig and found creative ways to de-escalate situations- such as but certainly not limited to rap battling with puppets by the campfire. 😅

Taught K-8 Art & 6-8 Science. Imagine transitioning from finger painting with first graders to frog directions with 8th graders. I didn't just pull it off, I was great at it, and had a small brand startup and permaculture garden club on the weekend.
