Philosophy of TeachingMy purpose as an educator is to create an environment that is conducive to learning and personal growth for my students. I believe that all children can learn and do amazing things. As a teacher it is up to us to find ways to make every child successful and I realize that this means hard work. I am prepared to work as hard as I can to have a class where small success occur everyday. It is vital to help students open their eyes to their potentials, discover their success and revel in them in these very important developmental years. It is my goal that each student that leaves my room does so with a sense of accomplishment and a readiness to achieve new goals. In my classroom I will use technology and new multimedia advancements with innovation to ensure that my students are getting the very best education. In order to accomplish these goals I am prepared to lead my classroom with confidence, awareness of my student’s needs, patience, and encouraging attitude. I understand that as a teacher I am a part of a support system that includes principals, counselors, fellow teachers, special educators, administrators of all levels and functions, paraprofessionals and other support staff whose professions are aimed at preparing students to become productive members of this ever changing world.
