A graduate of UC Berkeley’s Information Management and Systems Master’s program, I help clients with strategic and tactical development of internal online applications. As a key member of the launch team for TechTV (formerly ZDTV), a technology news, product, and entertainment cable network, I built a centralized team of technical and visual designers, information architects, and project managers to implement the UI and interaction design for TechTV’s online initiatives. • Managed a multi-disciplinary team responsible for TechTV.com's front-end UI, including 12+ TV show sites• Implemented and maintained Vignette StoryServer CMS templates, admin interface, and workflow• Established an iterative, user-centered product development process in a start-up environment• Worked with marketing and TV design teams to unify the TechTV brand across media platforms• Designed, conducted, and reported on usability tests of existing and prototyped functionality• Analyzed site stats, survey, and usability testing results to measure and improve design effectiveness• Helped increase site traffic to over 1.5m unique visitors and 35m page views monthly through ongoing optimization of community-building applications, advertising, search, video of live events and broadcast clips
