Jim DeMicco is a web developer, graphic designer and co-founder of SkyeLine Studio, LLC. DeMicco is the “techie” in SkyeLine Studio, coding websites in WordPress, HTML and Flash. He primarily utilizes a clean design aesthetic in both graphic and web design, preferring simple modern lines and the use of white space to highlight colorful company logos, vivid photography and creative font treatments. On the opposite side of the spectrum, his more traditional website designs feature richly layered graphics and images to portray a brand’s feeling and tone. DeMicco got his start as a graphic designer creating marketing collateral such as ads, brochures, logos and eNewsletters. On a macro level, he was in charge of projecting and budgeting sales and shipment numbers for the products that he oversaw. On a micro level, DeMicco continuously analyzed marketing results and used this analysis to write future advertising strategies. He oversaw the creation of marketing materials and distribution of these materials to customers – by delegating and managing the printing of direct mail pieces and magazine advertisements. DeMicco contacted media and printing vendors to ensure marketing deadlines were met. Product related responsibilities included outsourcing the photography, evaluating product samples and maintaining product inventory and quality for customers. DeMicco had one employee in his direct charge and utilized the resources of others in his daily routine.

As a Subrogation Analyst at Travelers, DeMicco was in charge of identifying, recording, distributing and tracking deductible collection for General Liability and Garage Keeper policies. While most deductibles are paid without problems, there is always a small portion which require substantial and diligent follow-up. To track down these payments, he was in daily contact with claim representatives, agents, underwriters, companies insured with Travelers and vendors working for Travelers.
