I am finishing a nine year term in the Navy in a few months. As a jet engine technician, I have been on three deployments and became proficient in the maintenance, upkeep, and troubleshooting of aircraft power-plants, transmissions, and fuel systems. I have also had the opportunity to supervise and train technicians and future supervisors in the Navy. I had the privilege to work alongside other technicians who mentored and trained me to be one of the best at what I do. Throughout the years of deployment and being away from my family has allowed me to adapt to difficulties that mentally, physically, and emotionally molded me into the hard working and dedicated technician that I am. I also learned through the hardships of these times on how to become a strong and dependable leader as well as a diligent worker. I have a passion for aviation and am in the process of continuing my education in aviation and aeronautics
