As an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager, I understand just how important the warehouse is, in ensuring the smooth running of business. From receiving deliveries of critical supplies and materials, through to the dispatch of customer orders, the warehouse team can really make or break an organisation.My career until now includes not only warehousing, but business ownership in the upholstery and landscaping industry. Over the years, I have developed many transferable skills that carry a great deal of weight in my new role at the Wilpak Group. On a daily basis I liaise with the office to ensure the warehouse understands their needs, and I then ensure the warehouse can deliver.My warehousing career started in 2004, when I was a Warehouse Assistant with AkzoNobel – one of the world’s largest chemical manufacturers and distributors, and the owner of Dulux. It was a fast-paced environment where product was constantly being moved and customers expected the best. As a former business owner, I bring to the warehouse a unique understanding into how businesses work and what customers expect and deserve. In my current position as Warehouse Operations Manager, I ensure clients receive cutting edge packaging solutions that are stand out for all the right reasons. The Wilpak team are as dynamic as their products, and it’s my job to ensure the warehouse keeps up.
