Introduced to PHP through a basic 2 day course. From then, I am self-taught through books, tutorials, experience and hard work. I have designed and built a bespoke CMS called Splash, which was used by over 30 clients.In 2013, the web department expanded, and I now manage a team of developers and their day to day tasks.Main duties & tasks:Client meetings - I am responsible for arranging and carrying out meetings with clients, both one to one and group meetingsPresentations - I am involved in key presentations for new business, from designing the visuals for the site to writing the reports and proposals to win the businessClient Training - I supply training for all clients to help them use the website and the CMS, both one to one and group training. Skill levels in training sessions can range from beginner to proficient and there is always a positive response as the training I supply covers all levels• Manage and distribute all work given to the development team• Make sure all projects are done to the highest level and on time• Maintain the workflow of each project to make sure every part of the site build is complete• Review all elements of the project across all devices• Continue to be hands-on in the development and coding of each project• Manage and maintain hosting packages, domains and CMS for our clients• Provide technical support for all our clients websites and hosting• Manage all main computer systems in the office.Skills & software:• HTML / HTML5• PHP• CSS / CSS3• LESS• Grunt / Gulp• Wordpress• jQuery• Adobe Creative Cloud

After 2 years, I was taken on full time and given the position of Finished Artist. Promoted to Graphic Designer 2 years later, I continued in this position till 2004 when I was given charge of the website development for the company. I am currently still in charge of the running of this department.
