Improving the quality of life for cancer fighters, survivors, previvors and caregivers by helping provide a peer to peer cancer support community● Creating systems and protocols to ensure ease of use internally and external ensuring participant satisfaction ● Training a team of Cancer Support Specialists to provide a reassuring, calm, nurturing and empathetic presence in all interactions – phone, in-person, digitally● Creating and maintaining meaningfully and mutually-beneficial relationships with Cancer Partner Organizations ● Staying current and maintaining knowledge regarding cancer types, sub-types, treatments, procedures, cancer-industry events, organizations and news● Developing external partnerships that will amplify Imerman Angels’ brand and reach● Manage all outreach programs with hospitals, health care organizations, and medical partners including communications, staffing, training, logistics and the development of materials● Managing the Ambassador program with the goal of improving strategies that createnew opportunities for Imerman Angels’ presence and outreach outside Chicago● Maintaining and consistently enhancing training protocols for staff, volunteers, and interns to ensure the highest level of service to the community we serve● Maintain and improve Salesforce workflow to provide the best possible matchesfor our community● Identifying, suggesting, and implementing improvements to all connections-related activities and tools as well as outreach opportunities to continue spreading Imerman Angels’ mission to help more and more cancer fighters, previvors, survivors and caregivers● Developing and organizing measurement and tracking mechanisms to assess qualityand quantity of matches and impact● Support management-level projects, outreach, events, planning and more● Served as the direct Supervisor for close to a hundred volunteers/interns to ensure they had a learning, nurturing, enjoyable opportunity while serving our mission
