As Executive Director of French Heritage Society (FHS), I work with fantastic teams in New York City and Paris to ensure that the treasures of French architectural and cultural heritage survive to delight, educate and inspire future generations. Over the past 42 years, FHS has supported more than 680 restoration projects totaling over $15.6 million, 550 university internships and numerous meaningful gatherings on both sides of the Atlantic celebrating the ties between the United States and France.Last year, the organization gave close to $500,000 in support of 19 restoration grants and 1 cultural grant. The emergency fund that FHS created in 2019 following the tragic fire at Notre-Dame Cathedral raised $2.6 million from over 3,400 donors. 2024 is an exciting year for FHS's university internship program and we are selecting and supporting 20 students who will cross the Atlantic to participate in internships in the United States and France. A membership-based organization, FHS has 10 chapters in the United States and one in Paris.
