IT manager for a leading accounting and CPA firm in Phoenix AZ. Price Kong is technology leader in the accounting industry. During my service to Price Kong, my job duties have included:- Implemented a redundant VMware ESX solution, utilizing a centralized SAN. No one server failure will impact our operations.- Installed a Scale SAN solution. It's a blade system that adds another level of storage redundancy- Instrumental in implementing an advanced paperless system that has not only saved our employees time over dealing with paper, but has given them a level of access to prior data that is typically found in much larger CPA firms.- Implemented multiple Citrix servers, enabling our employees to work securely and seamlessly from home. IT Consulting Division:After the first year here, I started IT consulting for CPA clients as needed.Projects completed include:- 2000 Small Business Server to 2003 Small Business Server onto an ESXi platform.- Full VMWare implementation for one of the largest trust and estate firms in the state involving several ESX servers, centralized storage - LeftHand vSAN, and many P2V conversions.- Disaster recovery and backup help for clients as needed using products such as ShadowProtect and Desktop Authority.

Migration of 3,300 desktops throughout 18 sites for a school district. This migration was to upgrade from Netware 5/Zendworks to a Windows 2003/Altiris solution.Some of the wide varieties of tasks I undertook in included:• Installation, promotion, and thorough prep of Altiris deployment servers, and Microsoft domain controllers• Configuring of vital services such as DNS, DHCP, and WINS in a Windows 2003 server environment• Diverse group policy implementation, covering application settings, security, remote administration, and user environment configuration• Altiris RIP creation, and application customization, as required per site• Implementing custom scripts for deployment of legacy computers• Deploying a wide variety of Microsoft applications through Altiris/group policies• Altiris job development using conditions to lower time spent on deployment• Creating and documenting Windows 98 & XP base images for over 10 hardware platforms utilizing Microsoft’s Sysprep along with Altiris
