VDL Nedcar is de enige Nederlandse onafhankelijke autofabriek (Vehicle Contract Manufacturer), hier worden momenteel meerdere modellen voor BMW en Mini geproduceerd.De gecombineerde afdeling Business Planning en Business Control is de strategische sparringpartner voor de topstructuur van VDL Nedcar en de verbinding naar (toekomstige) klanten.De (middel) lange termijn consequenties op uiteenlopende strategische gebieden worden op zowel technische, bedrijfskundige, als financiële aspecten getoetst, gechallenged en geborgd.De afdeling is continue werkzaam in multifunctionele teams en verantwoordelijk voor:- Initiëren, onderhouden en advisering van het strategisch (middel)lange termijn beleid.- Organiseren, calculeren en adviseren van haalbaarheidsstudies voor VDL Nedcar.- Uitvoeren van scenarioanalyses t.b.v. voertuigprojecten en de ‘VDL Nedcar business case’.- Vertalen, sturen en opvolgen van de strategische, operationele en financiele performance.- Signaleren, beoordelen en mitigeren van (middel)lange termijn risico’s op financieel en strategisch gebied.

As a Launch & Change Coordinator I was responsible for maintaining the vehicle configuration and bill of materials, during the project and launch phases of the Mini Countryman.

Moonen Shipyards is one of the world’s foremost builders of motoryachts between 25 and 50 meter. Moonen designs and builds their yachts to provide owners with all the comfort, elegance, and sophistication of a superyacht, but on a more personal, intimate scale.During my time as an assistant project manager I supported three newbuild 30m+ yachts and a refit project in all phases of the project (from contract until warranty). During the projects I maintained the overview of the projects, the planning, its budget and the capacity demanded. I was in contact with the suppliers, subcontractors, engineering department, production department and the project managers.

At their state of the art production facility they create innovative and high quality animal feed for poultry and swine. As an assistant mechanic I was responsible for solving the production problems and interruptions due to machine failure during the weekends and holidays.

During my internship at FLG, I conducted a research for the Business Development department, towards the acceptance of innovations in the aerospace industry. Within the research study I investigated the new product introduction strategy of FLG in relation to the acceptance of innovations in a complex business to business industry.
