Veteran Navy Hospital Corpsman with the aspirations to lead and leave a legacy for future generations to inherit. I work great with others, goal oriented, great time management skills, and highly driven. Possess skills in communication, public speaking, mentoring, healthcare knowledge, business, finance, and leadership. I am a Purdue Global Alumni with a Bachelors of Science currently working towards an MBA with a concentration in Healthcare, training, learning, and gaining experience for a Senior level position. I am the first of my family to enroll into college, as well as complete a Graduate degree from an accredited institute. I was also the first in my family to Enlist in the Navy at the age of 18 to serve the United States. In the military I practiced emergency care along other medical professionals and Naval Physicians in a hospital/combat settings in preparations for possible combat deployments. I enrolled into many military courses ranging for Tactical Combat Casualty Care, to Sick Call screeners and Leadership Recognition. At the age of 22 I completed my Graduate degree from Purdue Global and transitioned into the civilian sector to enroll into Medical School to become a Physician Assistant. While working on required prerequisites for enrollment to the PA program, I worked as a personal trainer at my local gym, a waiter on the weekends, and teaching Medical Assistant Courses at my local community college in order to sustain a healthy lifestyle while completing school. As time went by and I completed the required prerequisites I began to shift my goals from becoming a Physician Assistant to completing a MBA at the University of Texas in Tyler. While currently working on my degree I have been employed as a Healthcare professional at Faith Family Academy Charter School. Here I have attended many Region 10 Leadership and medical nursing courses, active shooter in school settings, emergency management, and other related fields. I work as a School Health Nurse as well as the Emergency Healthcare Coordinator. My aspiration is to take what is broken and change it to benefit not only the company but the consumers, employers, and shareholders as well. With my knowledge, expertise, and past experiences I believe that I would not only be a great asset, but prove that I am the right choice for the job I set my mind to.
