I am on a constant drive to refine and share my passion for winemaking.I grew up on a ten-acre vineyard in Sonoma Valley, and developed an interest in the wine industry as a teenager. I learned the value of a strong work ethic by working on our family vineyard --long days of pruning, suckering, and even picking taught me the basics of vineyard operation. I continued to develop and refine this passion in thevineyard, with premium wineries, and at UC Davis. My most recent experience is with creating rich Bordeaux blends with Franciscan Winery in St. Helena, beautiful crisp aromatic whites with Kim Crawford in New Zealand, and small-lot single-vineyard Chardonnay and Pinot noir with Patz & Hall in Sonoma.Due to my upbringing on a vineyard, I love working with vinifera and always seek to work with world-class fruit. My love for viticulture is only surpassed by my love for creating exceptional wines. I am highly motivated, hard-working, personable, and versatile. I excel in organization, teamwork, and personal integrity.
