Blockbuster.com: Team of 4 consultants led a last-minute turnaround of ailing web project – moved Viacom site in New York to San Francisco. Deployed a $40M+ internal investment in retail Business to Consumer (B2C) e-commerce portal for video sales, web marketing, & branding. GTE: Network Commerce Platform (NCP) Designed, developed, & deployed e-commerce sites for Application Service Providers (ASP). Team of 6 consultants created economical alternatives in lieu of large IT investments & satisfied demand for transparent access to Internet-based applications. Guaranteed ASPs reliable, scalable, 7x24, utility hardware, network, & software through Genuity’s BBN network and the $32M NCP. Led GTE staff & managed scope, schedule, & budget of three pilot projects. Provided technical direction & personal leadership while conducting strategy & planning sessions. Worked daily with non-technical executives to ensure understanding & obtain endorsements. Created financial models for GTE staff marketing NCP & personally represented GTE on sales calls. Initiated procedures for account/channel management & sales qualification (filtered prospects through pipeline). NCP evolved into Genuity’s very successful Black Rocket service offering. State Farm: Business Management Sales Process Led full lifecycle (conception, requirements, design, development, test, pilot, deploy, & maintenance) for Customer Relationship Management (CRM) module of Business Management & Sales Process (BMSP). CRM represented $18M of $120M BMSP, implemented in 1,700 field offices nationwide. Enabled executives to decide to build, modify or outsource key components of CRM. Delivered EZ Data’s Contact Management System (Pasadena CA) into BMSP. Personally transitioned 6 field agent offices to BMSP operational procedures in Dover DE.
