-Coordinate day to day operation of the Compliance and Risk Management department-Support ongoing development, refinement, implementation, measurement, improvement, and effectiveness of TVHC’s Compliance and Risk Management Plan.-Write, implement, maintain, and revise policies and procedures for the general operation of the Compliance and Risk Management Program and its related activities to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct.-Lead and participate on teams that identify the best-known compliance and operational practices to achieve and retain optimal outcomes.-Ensure compliance and adherence with all federal, state, grant, and health plan guidelines on an ongoing basis as well as other key regulatory agencies.-Collaborate with management and staff to identify and support implementation of risk management, quality and compliance monitoring, and review audits-Create and send monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to Board of Directors-Interpret and research regulations, standards and laws, educate, investigate, draft policies, research and present best practices, lead projects and make decisions to reduce barriers to care and mitigated problems and liabilities.-Work closely with the Practice Management on Emergency Preparedness and monthly Safety Meetings-Serve as the lead for all external and internal compliance and risk management audits; ensures that corrective action plans are documented in a timely manner and effectively implemented.-Collaborate with the executive team in the investigation of clinical events including events; leads and/or participates in the development of root cause analyses as directed by the executive team.-Co-Chair the monthly Compliance Workgroup meetings and collaborates with management and staff to identify, review and support implementation of compliance monitoring and audits as required by HRSA, Patient Centered Medical Home, Meaningful Use, and health plan programs.
