I had responsibility for finance (arranged more than $200 million in funded debt and two follow on equity offerings),treasury, investor relations, risk management, accounting, acquisition integration and information technology. The second firm was a roll up of 24 individual firms in Wisconsin and Illinois, the consolidation of which was funded by a private equity firm, and was followed by more than 50 acquisitions over the next two years using private stock and debt as currency. This company went public in 1996 and in 2000 was sold to an international waste management company. I had responsibility for finance (arranged over $150 million in funded debt), treasury, investor relations, risk management (saving more than $1 million from predecessor costs annually and freeing up more than $8 million in collateral securing closure obligations), accounting, and acquisition integration and information technology.
