I am a Mechanical Engineer who recently graduated from Purdue University pursuing a career in mechanical design. I have strong interests in medical device and smaller-scale, consumer product design , but am curious and open to exploring different engineering sectors as well. I consider myself an ambitious team player who is eager to learn, lead, and create to improve the world we live in. Purdue has allowed me to engage in meaningful, project-based coursework: this currently includes my team's senior design project, where we are developing a module that can filter and trap water-based pathogens using custom nanostructures. I was also part of a biomedical engineering team that developed and won an innovation competition abroad after creating a functional medical prototype that treats vertigo-related symptoms.I am proficient in a variety of computer-modeling and simulation applications (see my resume!) and I find satisfaction in combining my technical knowledge with aesthetic appeal to bring a concept to life. Moving forward in my career, I want to try using a human-centered design approach to create ethical and sustainable solutions without sacrificing functionality.I am also steadfast on the idea that innovation flourishes in environments involving teamwork, so I am always looking for ways to better communicate with those around me.In my free time, I enjoy drawing, cooking, playing guitar (self-taught!), and browsing Spotify for new music.Feel free to message me!
