Tasked with the testing, programming, maintenance, and overall health of AEC’s over 50,000 meters and metering equipment. Deployed and now monitor our Tantalus AMI system. We examine the system for failed equipment, abnormal voltages, and communication issues. Our dept. oversees the inspection, metering and testing of every residential solar installation on the system. Metering is the touchpoint of the cooperative, interfacing with all our departments as well as our members.

Formed and chaired the committees for negotiations and grievances. Analyzed wage rates and contracts from other utilities to determine strategic goals.

Our elected team of officers took the metering school to one of the largest, well respected metering associations in the United States. Attendance figures routinely reach 300 individuals. With 80 to 100 utilities across the U.S. represented depending on year.
