I obtained my doctoral degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Utah, where I conducted research on developing plasmonic nanostructure platforms for enhancing the optical properties of molecules. This work aimed to improve the sensitivity and selectivity of biosensors. Currently, my research involves exploring the use of nanoparticles combined with chromatophore-inspired biomaterials to uncover new fundamental discoveries that can be applied to the design of materials for adaptive and interactive sensors and displays.
