Excellent Automation Work

▪ We are designing a Pacific Mole-Crab bioinspired robot capable of burrowing, and studying how it works.▪Designed the power system with motors, gears, bushing, e.t.c.▪Narrowed the volume and cross area of motion direction by 30% more;▪Planned to update the control concept of legs by MPC.

▪ Worked as research assistant Supervised by Professor Qingsong Xu in Full-time at Smart and Micro/Nano Systems Laboratory.▪ Developed an Electromagnetic control system with Three pairs of Helmholtz/Maxwell coil. Adjusted the system by NI Data Acquisition board and high-level motor driver. ▪ Carry out various validation tests on the system – stability, precision level, the heat dissipation test and simulation, e.t.c.▪ Predicted the heat dissipation by Lattice Boltzmann Method. ▪ Developed a feedback control system using a camera detecting the position of the magnet object.▪ Rewarded as the best capstone project of the Electromechanical Department.

▪ Worked as research assistant Supervised by Professor Qingsong Xu in Full-time at Smart and Micro/Nano Systems Laboratory.▪ Determined the design variables by a simulation model on electromagnetic field in Ansys Maxwell; and controlled a small ball by electromagnetic field to get through a printed stomach.▪ Assisted in the design, fabrication and testing of a new flexure-guided multiple degree-of-freedom energy harvester.

▪ Supervised by Professor Ruey-Song HUANG ▪ Organizing the daily functional MRI experiment, collecting reflection data from the objects. ▪ Interpretation of 2D CAD drawings and 3D solid models for manufacturing ▪ Precision manual lathe operation ▪ Experienced in adjusting the 3-D model for 3-D printing▪ Worked on a project by Unity for the cognitive experiment to collect the response from the object. ▪ Manufacturing the MRI permissible experiment tool by a machine shop ▪ Adjusting HTC’s VR glasses, which could simultaneously simulate wind blowing on the player’s face from different angles according to the displayed contents they were watching.

▪ Worked on a project for cause and effect for low flatness of objects and developing a system to improve upon in PCB printer. ▪ Observed and learned about the subsystems involved in a PCB printer – printing oil ink supply system – high-speed paper transmission system - quality inspection system.▪ Designed a synthesis of linkage-type mechanisms for positioning precisely and adjusting the calibration position of print nozzles through metal joint structure, which controls the calibration error within 0.01mm.
