My research interest includes fundamental studies on crystallization and surface science. My previous study focused on self-assembling biomolecular arrays and thin films at interfaces and surface modification of 2D materials. My current work includes building enzyme cascades using engineered surface layer protein assemblies and revealing the kinetics and mechanisms of rapid reactions on surfaces using a designed microfluidic liquid stage for high-speed Atomic Force Microscopy. I have 6+ years of experience working with AFM, TEM, SEM, and other characterization tools and possess a wide range of technical skills. I am independently motivated, yet I appreciate team efforts and enjoy collaborating productively within and across groups.
