Some highlights from working at UCR's Division of Undergraduate Education:- Generated impact reports for program donors with ArcGIS Online, ensuring awardees' privacy through consent records- Introduced automation to the office workflow, improving efficiency and ease of communication, recordkeeping and annual fiscal reporting; serve as point person for all maintenance, updates, training & troubleshooting- Spearheaded budget creation and grant application to secure $1,500 for the inaugural student employee-led open house event to increase exposure for the Division’s opportunities and resources, attracting over 200 studentsOn the day-to-day, I:- Document methodologies and rationale behind all projects and newly created workflows to ensure future replicability- Clean, analyze and visualize data describing 200+ scholarship applicants using Python & Excel to summarize applicant demographics, behavioral patterns, and evaluate efficacy of marketing efforts to inform future administrative decisions- Recommend, design and implement systems to capture student engagement and resource utilization metrics for budgeting purposes- Present to classes and coordinate outreach events to enhance awareness of the Division’s opportunities

In this role, I collaborate with my fellow Ambassadors to plan and host informational events, present in classes and workshops, and table at various events and job fairs.Additionally, I:- Increased engagement on program Instagram and Linkedin pages; gather content by maintaining regular correspondence with alumni, design flyers and posts using Canva and follow a strict posting schedule- Initiated a project to increase the proportion of STEM applicants to the program; gathered student testimonials and forged new partnerships with UCR’s STEM major advisors

In this role, I:- Lead evaluation of the Center's local entrepreneur support program by coordinating regular check-ins and feedback interviews with cohort members to improve program structure and content- Cataloged 400+ contact profiles and inquiries regarding local grants and programs into Customer Relations Management databases, maintaining confidentiality, cleanliness and accuracy- Researched ways to improve the center's CRM usage to capture specific metrics to be reported to the County- Collaborated with public and private partners to administer grants and technical assistance programs to local businesses affected by Covid

I was lucky enough to intern under Ward 1 Councilmember Erin Edwards in Winter of 2022 and learn about how legislative decisions are made on the local level. I created weekly briefings for committee and Council meeting agendas and helped support a community Q&A event regarding the development of a new affordable housing project.

In this role, I guided approximately 175 incoming UCR students through Orientation over 16 sessions, holding a one-person show for each cohort to give them the best possible first impression of UCR. During this role I volunteered to independently create an introductory video about UCR’s CARE Center, which was shown to thousands of incoming students and covered UCR’s resources for maintaining healthy relationships and preventing sexual violence. Through this position, I honed my skills for hosting and managing virtual events, giving presentations and customer service.
