As a member of the Engineering Productivity team for Datto's Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery product line, I build internal tools & services for product developers across several teams & domains. I work closely with product SWEs and QA Engineers, empowering them to design & execute test scenarios, modeling real world setups for Datto's products.

As a Software Engineer in QA Intern, I'm helping to build test automation frameworks and tools. We build the frameworks that enable our fellow engineers to have confidence in their code.Responsibilities Include: Code across a number of languages Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, PHP, etc. Write test scripts to ensure code quality/functionality Develop internal QA testing tools Work with QA team members to thoroughly test all portions of product UI, internal and external reporting and alerting, advanced product features as well as command-line capabilities

As a Software Engineering Intern for the Verification and Validation department, it was my responsibility to design and develop solutions for automating/streamlining department actions and internal requirements. This opportunity required strong documentation skills, the flexibility to match new/changing requirements, and the ability to quickly gain a deep understanding of new technologies.
