Jennifer Idol is the first woman to dive 50 states, author of An American Immersion, and a PADI Ambassadiver. She is a member Fellow of the Explorers Club and a member of the Ocean Artist’s Society and a graphic designer. Her award-winning photography and articles have been widely published in periodicals such as DIVER, SCUBA Diving, Alert Diver and Sport Diver. She has been diving for 24 years and earned more than 29 certifications._______________________________________________________________________________I set out on a quest in 2011 to become the first woman to dive 50 states and use my underwater photography to show how our national underwater world is a treasure we should care for and protect. I help others understand the underwater world through my photography, design, and by sharing my exploration. My design services include web design, print design, and logo design.An experienced designer, photographer, and diver, my work has been published in Diver, Sport Diver, Texas Aquatic Science, Outdoor Oklahoma, and Underwater Speleology. Large-scale permanent installations of my photography are found at the Lake Murray Wildlife Museum and Texas Association of REALTORS. As president of the Austin chapter of AIGA, the professional association for design, I served the creative community by providing leadership, educational opportunities, and design services for more than 9 years.
