Jie Lu is Head of Investments China at Robeco. In his current role, Jie is responsible for Robeco's overall investments and research activities in China, and is managing multi-billion dollars of AUM. Jie had many years of investment and management experience. He worked as the General Manager of Robeco China. Before joining Robeco as Head of Research China in 2015, he worked at Norges Bank Investment Bank as Portfolio Manager in Shanghai and Hong Kong. Prior to that, Jie worked at M&A department of Morgan Stanley Asia in Hong Kong. He started his career at Motorola in 2000 as an engineer and has held several manerial positions during his tenure.Jie was awarded an MBA with Distinction in Finance and Marketing from Kellogg School of Manager at Northwestern University. He also holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from the University of Illinois in the US and a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from Fudan University in China
