A Strong accounting professional graduated from Monash University, Australia and Kingston University, London and a highly experienced Auditor with a well-demonstrated history of working in the accounting and auditing sector of the Bhutan Government. Proficient in External Audit and the three streams of audits - Financial Audit, Compliance Audit, and Performance Audit. Expert in the Risk-based Audit Approaches and the ISSAIs (International Standards for Supreme Audit Institutions) that is very much in line with the International Standards on Auditing (ISAs). Involved in training of the fellow auditors and the recent graduates on the Auditing Module, Risk-based Audits, and the ISSAIs. Hands-on experience in environmental auditing, gender-perspective auditing, judiciary systems, government property systems, audit of the preparedness in the implementation of SDGs initiated by INTOSAI (International Organizations for Supreme Audit Institutions), audit of financial institutions and Corporations, audit of the government agencies and projects funded by ADB/WorldBank/UN Agencies/Austrian Government, and the annual certification of the Consolidated Financial Statements of the Bhutan Government that is tabled in the parliament every year. Also involved in the development of Manual for the Audit of the Civil Society Organizations. Keen interest and skilled in research based work and Analytical tools. Fluent with the eAudit Data Analytic Package the Interactive Data Extraction and Analysis (IDEA), Accounting Softwares including Tally, MYOB, and QuickBooks, and also learned about the Bloomberg Terminal. Recipient of the Australian Development Scholarship (AUSAid) Grant, Chevening Scholarship, and the Young Professional Leadership Program (YPLP) Grant.
