Worked with the Gaming Reporting and Analysis Manager to plan, design, develop, and launch efficient business reporting and analysis solutions in support of core organizational functions and business processes. This includes gathering and analyzing data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and requirements.Other essential duties include: Plans, designs, develops, and implements business intelligence solutions by translating logical models to physical models with implementation into SAS, and possibly other environments. Defining, creating, and maintaining data models and work flow; creating stored processes; creating and query relational and data warehouses (Star Schema) database systems; extracting and manipulating datasets; maintenance and monitoring of automated reporting and loading process (ETL) jobs; sustaining daily processes; analyzing the process of data recovery; developing reports using Business Objects, Microstrategy, and SAS.Monitoring of physical space requirements; creating and maintaining SAS analysis files; analyzing data from various data sources performing verification for the accuracy and integrity of data from the various sources.Analyze, document, and suggest system enhancements for existing report processes and database systems; analyze the various operational functions of the NCEL and implement solutions to facilitate the desired need or outcome. Communicating with technical support (as needed); researching and troubleshooting error conditions experienced with business intelligence tools.Providing support for the NCEL’s Business Intelligence tools (SAS, Microstrategy, Business Objects) to internal users; educating internal users on our reporting systems and capabilities; troubleshooting user reporting issues; participating in the testing/verification and acceptance of modifications/enhancements of third party reporting and analysis systems.
