B.E.(Instrumentation & Control Engineering) from Gujarat University, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, 1997. M.Tech. (Electrical Engineering) with Specialization in Measurement & Instrumentation from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, Uttarakhand, India, in 2010. At IITR, he worked on his PG Project on Building Automation and Dissertation on “Wireless Sensor Network Applications for Process Control and Automation” under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) H.K. Verma, Professor-Electrical Engg. & Dy. Director, IIT Roorkee.He served as Assistant Manager (Instrumentation) with Atul Limited, Atul, Gujarat and worked in the areas like Automation, Projects, ISO9000, Y2K compliance for process automation systems. Then with Doshi Ion Exchange and Chemical Ind. Ltd., Ahmedabad, Gujarat as Senior Engineer (Projects), he worked for design, installation-commissioning and troubleshooting for automation of water treatment plants. From the last 18 years, he is with Instrumentation & Control Engg. Dept., under Faculty of Technology at Dharmsinh Desai University, erstwhile Dharmsinh Desai Institute of Technology (DDIT), Nadiad and currently serving the university as Asst. Professor (Sr. Grade). Prof. Jignesh G. Bhatt has also served as (i) Network Institute Coordinator - Gujarat, VSAT-Enabled Mobile e-Learning Terminals (MeLT) Project, sponsored under NMEICT by MHRD, Govt. of India, nationally coordinated by IIT Roorkee.(ii) Nodal Centre Coordinator - Gujarat, Virtual Labs Project, sponsored under NMEICT by MHRD, Govt. of India, nationally coordinated by IIT Roorkee(iii) Principal Investigator, Solar City Smart Grid Project, sponsored by Govt. of Gujarat, wide an MoU signed with GoG under Vibrant Gujarat - 2013 in the auspicious presence of then Hon.
