Years ago when I was a student, I've seen some prototypes of 3D simulation software that were developed by Japanese companies for the apparel/fashion industry.It was the time that Fast Fashion arose and many brands began to reduce their size for better cost and efficiency.My instinct recognized that 3D will be the next driving force of the industry.Fortunately, I could start my career at an apparel vendor company as a 3D specialist making virtual garment samples and working closely with the world's famous brands & buyers.Since the garment patternmaking was my educational background, I could learn many things quickly and use the new tool very well.My experiences at an apparel vendor company led me to believe in the potential of virtual garments not only for the efficiency of the way we work but also for the sustainability which the entire industry wants to secure.Right after I left my first company to pursuit a better career opportunity, I could start working as a TAM of Optitex.I could work with professionals from other fields not just from the apparel/fashion industry. I could learn many things working with them.3.5 years at Optitex were priceless. I am very thankful that I could leave the company without leaving regret. Now, I am making better products to virtualize every single garment on earth and connect people at CLO Virtual Fashion Inc.
