About Jikai Z.

I earned Master of Biostatistics degree and currently am a PhD Candidate in ECE at Duke University. My main research focus is building AI-based solutions to address practical problems in medicine. I have more than 5-year working experiences with electronic medical data (EHR) and institutional picture archiving and communication system (PACS). From raw data to the final AI model, I designed and implemented end-to-end AI-based framework to tackle common problems in medicine, including free-text mining of medical reports, automated imaging labeling (classification and segmentation), and comprehensive statistical analysis. I have published multiple papers in medical-related journals as a first author or co-author.
