My role focuses on leading Akvo's work in Agriculture and understanding how data and technology can be used as means to support our partner's needs. I work on projects that focus on sustainable agriculture. My day-to-day work involves activities like data analytics, project management for custom technical solutions, identifying data needs of our partners, and data collection. I am specialized in Living Income Gap measurement. I am part of the Akvo East Africa hub and based in Nairobi, Kenya.

The Technical Advisory Committee helps the Living Income Community of Practice (LiCOP) to identify the direction, priorities, and components their technical work, providing a backstop for the technical guidance and resources they produce. It is composed of experts in farm household economics and characteristics, and income calculation.

The YEP Programmes offer viable opportunities for young professionals, as well as for the Dutch water, agrofood and renewable energy sectors. These sectors have a clear need for capacity building at an international level and are striving for more international young professionals who can contribute to knowledge transfers, innovation, new technologies and rejuvenation in these sectors. The main goal of the programmes is to offer young Dutch professionals the opportunity to gain experience abroad and to offer young local professionals the opportunity to gain experience with working in an international environment through Dutch organisations.

Worked for a research project that was conducted in Sierra Leone. This research focuses on the recruitment and monitoring of community health workers. As part of this job, I've worked in Sierra Leone for three months where I assisted the local research team. Activities: data analysis, impact measurement, reporting to (funding) partners, preparing field activities, enumerator training, and doing literature studies.
