As CAO Chief of Staff to RBC’s Chief Administrative and Strategy Officer, I am responsible for supporting the senior leadership team and delivering CAO initiatives to advance the team’s mission and mandate. In addition, I continue to lead the Communications team supporting CAO.

As Director of Communications, had responsibility for developing and delivering impactful communications strategies for RBC’s Chief Administrative & Strategy Officer and the CAO team. Included providing strategic support for the following teams: Corporate Real Estate, Procurement, Brand, Marketing Citizenship & Communications, and Strategy & Transformation Services. Partnered to further refine and articulate the CAO strategy, engage employees and drive understanding and support for RBC’s strategy, vision and values. Responsible for supporting business and functional communications team to support key enterprise-wide initiatives.

Supported Personal & Commercial Banking, specifically responsible for the teams within Personal Financing Products (Home Equity Financing, Personal Lending), Personal Savings and Investing (Savings, GICs, Mutual Funds Distribution, Direct Investing, InvestEase) and segments (Youth, Newcomer, Healthcare). Led development and execution of external media relations programs to raise profile of the Bank, its products and thought leaders; mitigated and diffused issues, while protecting and enhancing the brand. Developed and executed internal communications and executive leadership support to motivate the team and strengthen cross-product collaboration to ultimately enhance overall performance. Major initiatives included: partnering to build and introduce an integrated approach to P&CB narrative; supported the launch of RBC Healthcare and InvestEase; played an integration role for client communication and approach through COVID.
