Year-round Campaign Strategy and coalition building for the Alliance to End Chickens as Kaporos, a project of United Poultry Concerns. This includes being primary point of contact between all allied organizations, maintaining communication between various actions and organizers, consistently working to engage political officials, and representing this controversial campaign on an on-call basis.Field Director and Organizer during Kaporos rituals in NYC each year. Over the course of 7 days, I am responsible for directing and managing over 400 activists providing care to thousands of chickens being illegally confined in crates on city streets. This requires oversight of: a team of volunteer Marshals, volunteer prep of food and water for the thousands of animals, inventory ordering/management of all supplies for the actions, communication with multiple NYPD precincts, a team of volunteer animal rescuers and animal care providers, any media presence or photojournalists, and deescalation of conflict wherever possible. I am also the point of contact between all of the representatives from the allied organizations in real time during the unpredictable week of actions. The above week of actions requires extensive preparation and promotion. Light fundraising is also a necessary component of this role.Accomplishments: when first contracted, United Poultry Concerns was the only group present at the Kaporos mass slaughter each year. The optics were a nightmare, as the campaign was constantly accused of being anti-Semitic and in conflict with the First Amendment (both assertions were false). Since I was brought on board, we now have six allied organizations visibly collaborating (three of which are Faith-based groups), lines of communication with the insular Hasidic community are growing, and our presence at the rituals is now viewed as peaceful and impactful.

Temporary role to implement Development Department and assist with on-boarding the acting Development Director. I remain a passionate supporter and volunteer for Tamerlaine Sanctuary and Preserve. My longtime relationship with Tamerlaine includes extensive event planning, volunteer coordinating, and donor relationship cultivation.

Responsible for reviving activist efforts to protect the victimized carriage horses in midtown NYC. I started as a volunteer organizer and creator of the campaign Empty the Carriages in 2017 along with a small number of fellow activists. We countered the fatigue around the 'carriage horse issue' with an enthusiastic volunteer effort at the point of sale for the carriage rides. Eventually, I was hired by the organization NYCLASS (New Yorkers for Safe, Livable, and Safe Streets) and brought with me the acting Executive Director. I also brought on board a part-time individual to provide administrative support to the Executive Director and myself, who remains contracted by the organization today.While employed by NYCLASS the Executive Director and I worked largely as a partnership. However, the items that I was more uniquely responsible for included: field direction during activist events, management of our CRM platform and website(Nationbuilder), email campaigns, event planning, design and copywriting for our materials such as flyers and posters/placards. As a 501(c)4, we worked extensively on relationship building with political officials and consultants, as well as lobbying for various pieces of legislation to help animals in New York City and New York State.I remain an active volunteer and supporter for this organization.

Co-Founder and primary events planner for the largest New York-based vegan group on Facebook. VoNY was recognized by Facebook as one of the vegan groups with the highest engagement on the entire platform. In addition to event planning, I was a daily monitor of the online group and all posts (including conflict engagement and mitigation) and achieved the majority of the coalition-building efforts. While started spontaneously with a modest 300 members, we created a platform where vegans could meet each other online and in person and quickly grew to a diverse group of over 6,000 screened members. As a daily group administrator and organizer/host of varied in-person events, I am proud that we provide a space for athletes, foodies, activists, entrepreneurs, rescuers, and shy folks to learn from each other and support each other's pursuits. VoNY - Vegans of New York has also helped local vegan businesses and non-profits promote to and access the community in a unique and powerful way. This group has literally changed the way an entire NYC community relates to each other and was fully volunteer-operated. Even though I stepped down as a day-to-day administrator, I remain and active member in the group and am available to current admins and co-founder whenever needed.

Commissioned on a project basis by independent Fitness and Wellness studios to create customized original fitness programming for buy-out.In most cases, studio owners would define which apparatus they wished to incorporate into their business (such as rigged bungee cords or single-point aerial harness) and relay the mission determining their cultivation of fitness offerings. I was entrusted to:- create extensive movement vocabulary with the prescribed apparatus (including variations and modifications)- create class structure and sequences- determine and define any safety protocol relating to the specific apparatus and its intended use for the program- collaborate with studio owners on branding elements- define rigging specs for safety and map rigging according to their studio dimensions to maximize class capacity without compromising client experience- photograph and/or film all included content for instructor training and reference- create instructor manual including copy, layout, and supplemental information such as handling clients with movement restrictions or contraindications to elements of the program- structure instructor training according to schedule allotted by studio owner, usually between 2-6 days- structure instructor testing protocol to determine who would be permitted to teach the technique to the public and to provide constructive feedback for every trainee- conduct instructor training on-site and oversee implementation of the first classes to be offered to the public- dependent on studio schedule, taught special additional workshops or classes to the public while on-site as an additional service during the period of instructor training

I joined the staff of prestigious instructors after creating the CoreAerial program for the studio. This work included sequencing the conditioning class with variations, incorporating safety standards for working with the aerial apparatus in a group setting, and modifiers for those with health contraindications or injuries. After the program tested successfully with clients, I structured an instructor training for the staff to expand the class schedule. This included basics of biomechanics and hands-on spotting for safety, as well as producing an instructor manual from start to finish (photos, copy, layout).As an instructor, I learned and adapted other class styles in order to teach every class using aerial hammocks. Class sizes ranged from private up to 30 students. I also conducted workshops covering basic anatomy and the latest nutritional science, including generating educational booklets to support the material covered in the workshops.

Responsible for re-design of the original Instructor Manual for AntiGravity Yoga (over 175 pages of content), using Adobe InDesign program.Over time, duties expanded to the design, editing, layout of manuals and testing materials for every AntiGravity Fitness program including Yoga, Suspension Fitness, Restorative, Pilates, and Level 2 versions where applicable. Some copywriting was required as well. As Manual Editor, I created shot lists for all photoshoots and managed a database of thousands of images. As Manual Editor and a Master Instructor, I was included on all decisions regarding the structuring of every program and training for the duration of my time with the company in order to optimize safety protocol, brand standards, and to ensure instructor trainees were set up for successful testing and ultimately successful as certified AntiGravity Instructors.

Proudly one of the first certified instructors, and the second Master Instructor in the company.As a Master Instructor, I was responsible for conducting comprehensive multi-day teacher trainings for groups ranging from 5-30 instructor trainees. This process included administering the written and practical examinations for a pass/fail result. In total, I trained and certified over 350 instructors in numerous countries on three continents, not including the thousands of students to whom I taught public AntiGravity classes, immersions, and workshops. Master Instructor duties additionally included PR responsibilities, and consult on programming and promotional protocol for businesses implementing AntiGravity programs into their structure.As a Co-Developer, I launched the AntiGravity Pilates program with the AntiGravity founder. Responsibilities included all of the Master Instructor duties, plus the responsibility of generating the program sequences and variations from inception to launch, generating the mission and brand standards for the program, design and copywriting for the instructor manual, and creation of the teacher training schedule and testing protocol.

Responsible for sales, order taking, maintenance of visuals, and set-up/break-down at wholesale and retail trade shows and markets.
