Associate Professor teaching digital media, first year writing, editing and magazine production, page design, communicating with video games, and other courses at Frostburg State University. Available to contract for design work, editing, or grading/rating.At FSU, I am advisor to the student newspaper The Bottom Line, the Chair of the General Education Program Re-envisioning Committee, Co-Coordinator of Women's Studies, Chair of the Liberal Studies Advisory Group, Chair of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Assessment Council, Secretary of the Student Learning Assessment and Advisory Group, and members of many other organizations and committees committed to the improvement of higher education. I also take photographs for the Theatre and Music Departments for fun, but my work has been featured in University and local publications.

Taught courses such as first year writing, multimedia writing, and video game writing while publishing, serving on committees, and performing department and college level assessment.

I grade papers from high school students in a co-enrollment program, attend training, and also have begun to help grade and train high school teachers during the summer.

I have worked jobs of increasing importance at the journal from being an assistant editor of the Kairos Praxis Wiki, then an Editor of the Reviews section, to being an Editorial Board member now. I have worked with authors at all stages of the writing process for this multimedia journal from developmental editing of submissions, choosing submissions for publication, design editing and working with code, copy and line editing, and performing last minute tweaks before publication.

I supervise about 10 scoring leaders each of which have 10 more raters working under them to insure that scores are accurate, reliable, and valid.

Scored TOEFL exams remotely.

I edited pieces for publication including fact checking, citation checking, and editing for grammar, spelling, and syntax. Additionally, I laid out and designed each edition of the journals to the Senior Editor's specifications before sending it to the print house.
