About Jill Cox

Business process management, data management, CRM have been part of every position I've held over the last 35 years, across the business sectors of finance, manufacturing, energy, and now oil and gas. For Merlin, I have implemented Salesforce to support the digitalisation of many of the back-office functions. In addition, the Account Engagement modules of the CRM have been highly customised to deliver the "Merlin message" to our contacts in the most secure, and most effective way. Merlin has seen and helped solve problems believed to be intractable, and has engineered wells previously thought undrillable and their engineering prowess is now matched by some robust data processes and replacing manual tasks with automated routines. No lead goes untracked, no contact goes unnoticed, no project goes idle, no client goes unbilled (not that they ever did!)I have always put an emphasis on organisation of company data, be it on a file server, cloud, or CRM. The new(ish) terms of data strategy, data mining are a means to an end; analysing what we have, to glean new information on which to act, ultimately in the hope of positive benefit to Merlin.
