About Jill Eshelman, Phd

I am a social researcher with a passion for helping community coalitions and nonprofit organizations create public spaces that are artistically engaging, environmentally regenerative, and socially just. My mission is to help local residents imagine and create vibrant urban places, which reflect their unique values and cultures.  I am deeply committed to anti-racist community development processes, LGBTQ rights, gender equality, and equal access for people of all ages and abilities. In my spare time, I love exploring new places to discover unfamiliar green spaces, new architecture, and community-led art projects.  I am also an avid fan of live music, theater, dance, yoga, and art museums.
