As Education Coordinator I am responsible for overseeing student enrolment and education at three locations for our private high school and private career college. I review student applications using pre-established criteria as well as protocols I implemented, while staying cognizant of all program outlines, pre-requisites and ministry expectations. Once students are enrolled, I regularly observe their progress and when necessary, communicate the details of that progress with appropriate bodies. I concurrently teach private high school courses and monitor other programs, providing instructors with assistance when requested and direction when appropriate.

My primary responsibility was creating enriching lesson plans for toddlers and pre-schoolers that encouraged social, cognitive and physical development. As an extension of my role as educator I would discuss individual student’s progress regularly with parents and facilitate the development and implementation of personalized programs for students with special needs. In addition to my classroom position I assisted in the establishment of policies, procedures and programming for the daycare as well as for enrichment, sports and art classes for children newborn to age six.
