This is a passion of mine. An end of life doula helps those that are dying pass in a loving supportive environment that is peaceful and comfortable. They help the families cope so they can be present and open for those who are dying. I am available to listen, plan and guide people at the end of their life so they can die where they want and in peace.

Iora Primary Care is an innovative primary care clinic serving our senior population. We have clinics in Shoreline, Central District, Federal Way and Renton. As the Transitions Navigator, I guide our patients to be empowered over their health care. I help them with self care management skills by reviewing their medications, making sure they are getting the proper followup and helping them establish a goal for better health and life happiness. I do this in the comfort of their own home. I also act as a liaison and advocate between our patients and any facility they may be in like a hospital or skilled nursing facility.

We believe better health care starts with better primary care. Our simple yet radically different approach to restoring humanity to health care is three-fold: Team-based care that puts the patient first, a payment system based on care, not billing codes and technology built around people, not process.Iora Health patients enjoy the benefits of improved access to care, non-office based encounters (e.g. phone, video chat, email, walking groups, etc.), an accessible and transparent medical record, and robust educational offerings. Iora Health practices offer smaller panel sizes, closer relationships between patients and care teams and the opportunity to lead systemic change in health care delivery while working with a true team.In this role I helped establish the clinic in it's current space. Setting up the lab and the clinic layout and ensuring policy and procedures were in place. I managed a team of health coaches and oversaw and provided the necessary care to our senior population like wound care, phlebotomy, health coaching and motivation to stay healthy.
