I am currently the Chief Historian at the Center for Civil Rights History and Research, working to bring South Carolina's civil rights history to a wider audience.As a former classroom teacher and museum educator, I have an extensive background in education. I am also deeply engaged in historical research and public history, having worked at museums, public history organizations, and educational institutions with a range of priorities.
