One of four Managing Principals co-managing a premier venture capital fund of funds with $1.2B AUM. Led investment management for the firm and participated as a voting member of the firm’s Investment Committee. Directed investments to top performing, highly access-restricted, venture capital and growth equity partnerships. Engaged in all facets of portfolio construction, manager selection, due diligence, and fund monitoring. Ran weekly investment committee meetings and managed investment roadmap. TD Capital Ventures is an early-stage technology venture capital firm. Jill Frankle worked with five other investment professionals to source deals, evaluate investment opportunities, prepare term sheets and investment memoranda, and manage portfolio. She was involved in 19 of the Fund's 20 portfolio company investments since 2001. She participated in all facets of due diligence (evaluating business models; assessing technology/product offerings; conducting customer market research; analyzing market/competitive landscape; evaluating management team; and performing financial due diligence). She also constructed financial models to examine operating model sensitivities; analyzed company valuations; assessed alternative capital structures; and evaluated the pro forma impact of various transactions on investment return. Jill Frankle was a Board Observer for Third Screen Media, a mobile advertising company (sold to AOL).

Gomez was a privately-held startup focused on Web customer experience. The Company offered competitive benchmarks that compared a site's performance against competitors' sites. Jill Frankle was brought on board to expand coverage beyond financial services to include retail. She managed a team of 11 analysts covering 21 verticals, and provided direction for industry coverage and research. She also performed strategic consulting for clients (formulated recommendations on existing business plans, prospective partnerships, and ongoing brand-building/marketing efforts). Jill Frankle was a keynote speaker at industry conferences and tradeshows, and a key spokesperson with the press on Internet/e-commerce related developments and trends (she was quoted in The Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Business Week, Time, USA Today, San Jose Mercury News, and several online publications; she also appeared on The Today Show, CNN, ABC News, Nightly Business Report, and New England Cable News).

Jill Frankle published research reports on Internet and e-commerce; conducted primary and secondary research to support report findings; and developed forecast models of e-commerce products and technologies. She also performed strategic consulting and financial analyses; she assisted companies in identifying market opportunities by examining industry trends and performing competitive analyses. As a leading Internet analyst, she interviewed top executives at leading media, technology, and e-commerce companies and advised on business strategy, marketing, product positioning, and alliances. Jill Frankle frequently spoke at industry conferences and with the media; she was a featured speaker at IDC Conference Directions and was quoted in The Wall Street Journal, Business Week, The Financial Times, USA Today, San Jose Mercury News, and several online publications. She also appeared on New England Cable News and National Public Radio.

Firm is a provider of subordinated debt, second lien debt, preferred stock, one-stop debt facilities and co-investment equity to middle market companies. As the third employee, Jill Frankle was heaviy involved in due diigence (researched companies by performing financial and market analyses and assessing competitive situations). As a generalist, she examined multiple industries, including healthcare and media. Financial work included analyzing potential LBOs to assess the feasibility of various capital structures. She also participated in a successful SBIC application process and supported subsequent SBIC investments.
