The purpose and mission of my unique, art-based retail store is to support local artists and artisans, providing them the opportunity to show and sell the work they have created and encourage growth for the individual, provide purpose and opportunity to use their unique God given talents.Each artist would feel ownership of their portion of the boutique and take pride in their work and accomplishments.There will be art events, one of a kind shows and products, live music, classes taught by the contributing artists. I will also sell CDs by our local musicians, and a small section will be dedicated to gemstone and crystal beads and tools used for creating jewelry.The store is called “Eclectic Menagerie” By definition:Eclectic—adj. Selecting from various sources; not following one system but using the best elements of all systems…Noun: a person who favors an eclectic approach, esp in art or philosophyMenagerie: noun: 1. a collection of wild or unusual animals (haha! ) 2. An unusual and varied group of people (which we, especially as artists, are! )I believe in my mission----I truly understand the challenges of being a freelance artist and I genuinely desire to see artists SUCCEED. Because again, as an artist, if you’re not “doing art”, you feel like there’s a hole inside of you that is not being filled. The store’s purpose is to provide that outlet.

Front End of store Coordinator; Responsible for operational controls at the front-line and service desk. Ensures front-line Associates provide prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable service to all customers. Resolves customer service issues appropriately and competently. Audits and approves all necessary front-line paperwork.
