I am a Virtual Educator at Kansas City Public Schools and Kansas City Virtual Academy, where I help students achieve their academic goals and prepare for their future careers. I design and deliver engaging and effective online courses, using various learning platforms, tools, and strategies, to meet the diverse needs and preferences of learners. I also collaborate with other educators, administrators, and stakeholders to ensure the quality and alignment of the curriculum and instruction with the standards and objectives of the school and district.In addition to my teaching role, I am also a Grant Writer and Consultant, and a PhD Candidate in Learning Design and Technology at Liberty University. I help various organizations and individuals secure funding and resources for their projects and programs, by researching, writing, and submitting compelling and persuasive grant proposals. I also conduct and disseminate research on the latest trends and best practices in learning design and technology, and contribute to the advancement of the field and the profession. My core competencies include process improvement, communication, and interpersonal skills, which enable me to work effectively and efficiently with diverse and interdisciplinary teams, clients, and partners. I am passionate about learning, growth, and development, and I strive to create positive and meaningful learning experiences for myself and others.
