Motherhood provided me an opportunity to apply my knowledge and experiences in new ways. While homeschooling my children, I designed and implemented curriculum tailored to each individual learner’s needs and sought outside resources and experiences to supplement their education to create a rich learning experience. I budgeted for, developed and executed education plans tailored to each student. The scheduling, planning and day to day implementation often required much creativity and patience. I provided encouragement and fostered healthy, strong relationships inside and out of the home.
