Support named partner as a part of the real estate team. Responsible for preparation of critical dates summaries and keeping multiple transactions on schedule from contract execution to closing. Prepare checklist of closing documentation, conduct signing of documents and assemble for delivery with escrow instruction letter to title company. Prepare closing documents, contract amendments, assignments, authority resolutions and other entity and real estate related documentation. Review title commitments, exception documents and surveys and prepare title and survey objection letters. Participate in client calls. Preparation of closing binders and other typical real estate tasks.

Advise and counsel the development client on matters such as lease terms, negotiations and title exceptions. Conduct lease negotiations with prospective landlords. Draft legal documents such as leases, lease amendments, deeds and similar real estate documents. Prepare leasehold exception summaries for review and approval by the development team.

Independent Contractor (2011-2012, 2014): As an Independent Contractor, I was asked to come back after 2010 to handle special projects including the review of a shopping center reciprocal easement agreement and loan documentation for various loans in order to address partnership issues involving the investment and development subsidiaries.  Negotiated legal documentation relating to the acquisition, disposition and treatment of company owned and occupied real estate in support of corporate objectives. Advocated and advanced the company position to resolve property management disputes, including landlord repair and maintenance responsibilities. Worked closely with developers and reviewed mall tenant leases prior to execution. Assisted with refinancing projects and partnership issues.
