Adjunct professor for Substance Use counseling classes for their Masters level CADC program.

Provide Individual therapy to children, adolescents & adults in an outpatient setting.

Developing written objectives, job descriptions, policies and procedures, an organizational plan and a quality assurance program, for monitoring substance abuse counseling services. Providing individual & group counseling, direct clinical supervision to intern clinicians to ensure they are providing evidence based treatment by following treatment planning based on continuity of care. Familiarity with policies and procedures for funding sources such as SAI, FFS, Network including DUII, IDRC, Drug Court, Co-Occurring, State Parole Board and Department of Corrections. Attendance at Drug Court, FFS Network and Multidisciplinary Team Meetings related to various funding streams for the agency, Assists in preparation and writing of program grants & proposals. Assists in oversight of general operations of UPI Transitional Housing Program

Responsible for providing weekly supervision for 8 counselors as supervised by an LCADC/LPC. Manages the clinical component and facilitates the clinical/residential interface program development. Develops, modifies and monitors clinical program policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all licensing and regulatory agencies. On-call 24-hrs. for clinical emergencies and consultation. Oversees, Intervenes, and assists as needed, clinically with clients (crises, crisis intervention, AMA). Provides quality assessment/assurance and improvement training, utilization review, staff development. Responsible for maintaining a case load of 12-18 dual diagnosis clients including conducting weekly Individual and Family Counseling sessions. Completed diagnostic assessments, initial and mid-treatment planning, discharge planning and utilization reviews for insurance companies. Established a working knowledge of Oxford House systems and 12 step programs related to sobriety. Planned and facilitated process groups, psychoeducational groups (art therapy, psychodrama, CBT, Anger Management, DBT, Self Esteem, Relapse Prevention etc) and multi-family groups

Answer phones, schedule appointments, complete medical billing, provide empathetic environment, provide TMS treatments for individuals & co-facilitate substance abuse groups.
