Hello! I'm currently working in the sync department at BMG Rights Management, where I focus on reconciling sync income, generating insightful reports, and negotiating licenses. My journey at BMG began in copyright, where I honed my skills in catalog research, song delivery, and copyright notice creation.Diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) are not just buzzwords for me; they're central to my professional ethos. I had the privilege of serving on BMG's inaugural DE&I Council for three years, an experience that deepened my commitment to fostering inclusive leadership. My time as a Resident Assistant in college unexpectedly set me on this path, and I’m excited to continue creating access points for those historically excluded from our industry and beyond.Outside of work, I'm actively involved with Bay Ridge Democrats, a progressive political club that aims to elevate the Democratic voice in my neighborhood through education, social action, and electoral politics. On a personal note, I’ve been a vegan since 2007, and I believe that food is a powerful form of activism. My commitment to animal ethics and sustainability shapes my culinary pursuits. I’m a professionally trained vegan cook with experience in catering and teaching, and a highlight of my culinary journey was making vegan brownies for Joan Jett!When I'm not working to make a difference or sharing my latest vegan creation with coworkers, you can find me running through the vibrant streets of Brooklyn and Manhattan training for my next road race.
