I was an assistant to four attorneys, all who specialized in civil litigation. I maintained and filed legal documents, scheduled depositions, maintained office calendars, answered phones, handled administrative tasks, composed correspondence letters, conducted legal research, and assisted in the preparation of trials by preparing pleadings, discovery and other legal documents.

I assisted attorneys by performing research and obtaining information on defendants, victims, and witnesses. I gained extensive knowledge of specific legal computer databases, and became very familiar with rap sheets, police reports, and summarizing medical records. I communicated professionally and effectively with other attorney's, agencies and investigators and independently managed and prioritized my assigned caseloads.
