I interned with the CCA during my last semester at USU. I handled the publicity for the Theater Department's productions during the semester. I had great success while working for the CCA’s Theater Department. When I started the Theater Department’s goal was to make $6,000 from the production Suessical the Musical. After selling out the last three performances forced us to add an additional performance, that in less than 24 hours almost sold out, my team and I were able to make the Theater department a record setting $20,000. Targeting the right audience and tailoring your marketing for that audience is critical for success. I have learned how to identify, plan, and implement effective marketing and publicity plans though my intern experience with the CCA.

I recently graduated from Utah State University with a dual major in Agriculture Communications and Journalism and Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations.

I was the UFBF's summer Communications Intern. I had loads of fun working with the UFBF. I wrote articles for their quarterly magazine and monthly newspaper. I contributed a banner, and brochure to marketing displays used at the mid-year conference. I also designed a brochure regarding H.B. 141 a guide for land owners.

I was appointed to be the Student Body Publicity Coordinator at LDS Business College. I created the advertising materials for all student events.
